Writing That Feels Good Episode Summary:
Welcome to another episode of the Marketing Personalities Podcast! I’m Brit Kolo and I’m here today with Jacq Fisch of jacquelinefisch.com to talk about WRITING and how can each approach writing in a feel-good way.
Jacq and I have been around each other for a couple years now – first meeting in a Facebook Group and then being matched in a mastermind group together for the past year. She’s also been on this podcast two other times, back when it was the Marketing in Yoga Pants podcast, so if you’d like to hear more about where Jacq comes from, listen into these episodes:
Jacq’s first episode – 037 Writing with Jacq Fisch
Jacq’s second episode – 067 Copywriting That Feels Good with Jacq Fisch
Jacq and I teamed up for a third time to discuss how we can each approach writing in a feel-good way. Because let’s face it – we have A LOT of writing to do as business owners. Emails, social media posts, quick DMs, long personal replies, blog posts, video scripts, etc etc etc. And Jacq is here to help us do all of that writing well and in a way that doesn’t totally suck.
Jacq does this in her day-to-day through her copywriting and coaching business at jacquelinefisch.com. She writes for her clients and also hosts a GENIUS type of membership called MOFO Writers where she creates a space its members to come together for 3-hour writing marathons, get their writing sh*t done, and get live feedback on anything they get stuck on.
I, myself, am a MOFO Writers member and can say it has helped me consistently show up in my regular written content and has helped me break through things that felt really hard to write on my own.
As we discuss in this episode, not everyone approaches writing the same way. For Jacq, as an INFJ, she takes an intuitive approach to finding what’s right for every piece of writing she creates and every piece of feedback she gives her clients.

For Jacq, writing isn’t a technical puzzle you have to figure out for SEO purposes. Writing is something you intuitively feel your way through to produce the most true, real version of whatever needs to exist for you and for your reader or customer.
As an intuitive feeler myself, I dig this approach and it feels right to me.
Within our conversation, I also ask Jacq about…
- Her stance on Writer’s Block and how to get through it,
- And what the deal is with batching and who should be doing it.
And at the end of our conversation, Jacq totally blows me away with a super generous offer she’s opening up to you, as a podcast listener. She’s opened up 11 (yes, ELEVEN) spots on her calendar for the first 11 listeners to grab for free and receive a 30-minute copy review session.
So the first 11 listeners to jump on this get 30 whole minutes with Jacq. Knowing the brilliance of Jacq and what she can do with someone in 30 minutes (because I’ve experienced it myself!) you’d be crazy not to jump on this offer, especially if you’ve been struggling to write something lately. A sales page, an email, an Instagram post, whatever – she’s here to help.
Act fast on this. Get on Jacq’s calendar by following this link.
And once you hear about Jacq’s MOFO Writer’s membership, you’ll probably want in. Apply here.
Thanks for tuning in!
